 | Following on from the huge success of last year's screen in the Lower Gardens the main basis of this period will be to the erection of a similar open area cinema consisting of a 20m Led screen situated in the same location. All the excitement and drama of Wimbledon 2010 will be displayed on this screen between June 21st and Sunday 4th July 2010 creating an area for people to sit in the parks with a picnic and enjoy all aspects of Wimbledon 2010. Between 5th July and 16th July the screen will be used as an Open Air Cinema in association with the Bournemouth Bi Centennial celebrations. The screen will be utilised to its maximum during this period by including a selection of old films of Bournemouth possibly in association with the Arts Council and Bournemouth University. At other times of the day, Children’s family films will be shown enabling a family orientated event to be created for young and old alike.
